Ted Talk
"How your brain tells you where you are"
- This talk interested me because I am one to easily forget things, so knowing how the brain remembers where we are and how to do specific functions is fascinating for me. In the talk it is explained that memory of how you remember simple things is primarily from a small portion of the brain called the "hippocampus". Within these specific parts of the brain neurons continuously fire in order to remind our selfs where we are and what we are doing. Different parts of the brain preform different functions of memory, for example orientation, specific events and so on.
